Our conference was held at the The Langham Hotel HongKong. Initially, I stayed at the City Econo Guest House (not a hotel!) but I also wanted to try the The Langham Hotel Hong Kong. This is separate from the Hotel Langham Place Mongkok.

The ambience of the The Langham Hotel HongKong is similar to the classic elegance of Manila Hotel, but smaller in scale with regards the lobby and the function rooms.

The Langham's history from Wikipedia is as follows:

Langham's history back to 1865, when The Langham in London opened as the then-largest building in London and Europe's first 'Grand Hotel'. 10 storeys and 156-feet high, The first Langham hotel featured an unprecedented 15,000 yards of Persian tapestry, hot and cold running water in every guestroom, the world's first hydraulic lifts, known as 'rising rooms', and even an early form of air-conditioning. Upon opening The Langham, the then Prince of Wales, hailed the hotel as having "everything a man, woman or child could desire under one roof".[citation needed]
The Langham has since hosted innumerable members of royalty, political and cultural dignitaries, and celebrities from all fields, including French Emperor, Napoleon III and noted wits and writers, Oscar Wilde and Mark Twain.[citation needed]

The Langham Hotel is a five-star hotel located at 8 Peking Road in the heart of Tsimshatsui, HongKong.

I love their bathroom most of all. It was a very beautiful and large bathroom.

After several days of a very small bathrooms, I had an hour-long shower!

The Langham HongKong is known for its food.
Some restaurants even have the Michelin star ratings.

This is in one of the restaurants of The Langham Hotel during our meeting.

We had buffet to the max for lunch and overflowing fruits and dessert in between. It must have been more than twenty types of food during lunch!
The range was also wide with Asian, mostly, Chinese and Japanese, plus the heavy meats and salads of all kinds.

The dessert choices were also so varied with several types of sweets, burger and pizza and sandwiches types and the fresh fruits always available.

And the food tastes really good!!!

However, when vermicelli or other noodles are present, there is no rice served! (unusual for Filipinos)

I guess I was the only one who looked for the rice!!!
Japanese and Chinese all in one plate!

lunch choices... too much! BUT, we are not complaining because they are so GOOD!
Fruit and dessert table....overflowing indeed!

Health and Spa Services.

The best thing for me is the thoughtful touch with a nice note with a chocolate placed on top of the bed!

Definitely, The Langham Hongkong is a beautiful hotel and worth the awards it has received!!!
